Brenda was born November 12, 1951, in Enid, to Weldon Lotan and Patsy Ruth (Alban) Collier, and passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at home in Weatherford.

In 1959, Brenda, her parents, and brothers Steve and Marty moved to Clinton, where Eric was born in 1960. The family moved to Weatherford in 1963, and Brenda finally got a sister, Cara, in 1964.

Brenda graduated from Weatherford High School in 1970. In 1971, she married John Pitman, and God blessed them with a daughter, Tonya. They moved to Elk City in 1974.

In 1981, Brenda married Johnie Brunker and they established their home in Weatherford. Together, they were the proud owners and operators of J & B Shooter, a business that thrived from July 1984 to January 2001. Brenda also dedicated her time and skills to Kaiser Sign and Graphics, CrossPointe Church, and caring for her mother. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, as she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1992 and became a member of Zion Church in 1997.

Brenda found joy in various activities. She was an avid reader, a master of jigsaw puzzles, and a skilled crocheter. Her love for the church was evident in her active participation and assistance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie; father, Weldon Collier; brothers Steve and Martin; sister, Cara Wheeler; and niece Rachel Collier.

Brenda's legacy lives on through her daughter, Tonya Pitman, who resides in Weatherford. She is also survived by her mother, Patsy Collier, and her brother, Eric Collier, both of Weatherford. Her extended family includes sisters-in-law, Luella and her husband, Gordon Godfrey, and Sharon Collier of Lamar, MO, and brother-in-law, Mike Wheeler of Binger. Brenda was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and her warm presence will be missed by many family and friends.
