Hallie Jo Andes

Hallie Jo Andes was born on April 14, 1964 in Tuttle, OK to Hallie and Betty (Shaw) Rath. Hallie passed away on June 28, 2024 in Thomas, OK at the age of 60. She grew up in Tuttle and Cedar Lake area. Hallie loved to garden and grow all types of flowers and plants, she had so much knowledge and loved to share that with others. She loved to collect cookie jars, and draw and paint, having made numerous things throughout the years for her family. She liked canning and making jelly. Hallie also liked to take in strays, always feeding the neighborhood cats, but loved her dog, Aiaha, very much, who was a great companion to her. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren and her family. Hallie liked helping people, was always willing to help in whatever way she could. She was such a positive person, and she stayed that way even when she became so ill. Hallie will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

Survivors Include: her children, Steven Andes of Arnett, OK, Chris Andes and wife Brandi of Colony, OK, Ed Andes and wife Alyssa of Thomas, OK, her extra son, Floy Kessler and wife Tiffany of Weatherford, OK, her grandchildren, Rylee Andes, Ellee Andes, Wyatt Andes, Kaydence Andes, Hadley Andes, Alyna Barcindebar, Amera Barcindebar, and Mattias Vaughan, her mother, Betty Fay Rath, her siblings, Deborah Lay and husband Mike of Tuttle, OK, Eddie Rath of El Reno, OK, David Sutton and wife Kim of Newcastle, OK, Leona Baja of Springfield, IL, and Beverly Sanchez of Torrance, CA, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Hallie was preceded in death by her father, Hallie Rath, her husband, David VanAlstine, and her sisters, Icle Plank and Diane Richie.
