Iva was born to Alfred Gail and Mabel Etta (Kysar) Morelock.  Iva grew up on the family farm West of Hinton.  She graduated from Hinton High School in 1956.  

She married Raymond Bruce Lambert July 17, 1956, in Hinton at the First Christian Church. She and Raymond owned and operated the Hinton Cash Grocery for many years and owned the Snow Cone Hut in Red Rock Canyon State Park for a short time. 

Iva enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.  Iva and her sisters enjoyed singing and performing at church and family gatherings. They even performed on a radio station at one time. Iva was baptized at a very early age; she had a passion for Christ and instilled that passion into her family. She was a very active member of the Christian Church and was involved in various capacities at the church including Vacation Bible School and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She had a deep love for her husband, boys and all of her grandchildren and spending time with all of her family. 

Survivors include her four children: Bradford Lambert and wife Carol, Marlon Lambert and wife Anita, Steven  Lambert and wife Renee, and Jimmy Lambert and wife Gelinda all of Hinton; ten grandchildren; Josh Lambert and wife Cindy, Jacob Lambert and wife Ashley all of El Reno, Forrest Lambert and wife Candace of Hydro, Jaysen Lambert and partner Jenna Simmons of Hinton, Riley Lambert and Peyton Lambert of Hinton, Nicole Lambert of Hinton, Andy McKee  and Bethany McKee of OKC, and Katy Hibbs and husband Rodney of  Weatherford along with 14  great grandchildren: one brother, Alfred “Buck” Morelock of Weatherford, OK; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mabel Morelock, husband Raymond Lambert, siblings, Mary Lambert Murray, James Morelock, Linda Taylor, and Jane Morrow
